Brief Introduction
Do you remember the 1/6 Armstrong, Aldrin, and Collins that DID launched six years ago? These three heroes, once launched, created a strong wave in the market and attracted widespread attention and enthusiastic pursuit from major collectors worldwide. Six years later, PalmHero is launching three 1/12 astronauts to meet the demand of new collectors!
On July 16, 1969, astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins embarked on their lunar mission. On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin successfully landed the lunar module on the moon, becoming the first humans to set foot on the lunar surface and being recorded in history. This year marks the 56th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. To commemorate this historic moment, after six years, PalmHero has once again crafted a super fine 1/12 collector’s action figure of the three Apollo 11 astronauts.
“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” This is the famous saying spoken by Apollo 11 mission commander Armstrong when he first set foot on the moon on behalf of humanity. Aldrin’s head sculpture vividly restores the smiling expression before the moon landing, with a friendly and amiable feeling in the smile. Collins is a service module pilot. His task is to stay in the command module orbiting the moon. He is the astronaut in the Apollo 11 mission who did not walk on the lunar surface. Nevertheless, his strong and tenacious spirit of unity and perseverance with his teammates is always revealed in his eyes.
Distinguished from ordinary clothing, the extravehicular pressure suit, like a small space cabin, is indispensable for maintaining the life of astronauts during moonwalking, and its complexity is self-evident. We have improved in technology and craftsmanship, using a multi-layer fabric superposition design to truly restore the appearance and texture of the complex pressurized space suit. Even for the 1/12 clothing, we can restore it to the most delicate space suit.
Armstrong and Aldrin are also equipped with pressure bubble helmet and extravehicular visor, intravehicular boots and lunar overboots. Collins is equipped with a pressure bubble helmet and intravehicular boots. Each pair of astronauts’ boots has a compact and exquisite overall shape, and the helmets are small and exquisite, perfectly restoring the appearance of real astronauts’ boots and helmets!
In terms of accessories, the astronauts’ life depends on the oxygen purge system and portable life support system on their backs, which can provide oxygen and water for astronauts,functioning as a mobile life support system. They are connected to the pressure suit with hoses to maintain the life of astronauts. We not only create its appearance, but also truly restore the complex details inside. The Hasselblad 70mm camera, which captured precious moments on the moon, is locked on Armstrong’s chest remote control unit, and we have also replicated it to the extreme, reproducing the maximum details.
