The Missing Link series imagines the Transformers toys that could have been. For its 15th release, Ratchet receives a virtual reissue that re-envisions the classic Autobot medic with a more heroic, animation-inspired design while honoring the original 1980s toy concept.
Ratchet transforms from an ambulance-style Nissan Cherry Vanette into a fully articulated robot through a seamless one-piece conversion. Featuring select die-cast metal parts, it also includes a third “Respect Mode” inspired by the original toy’s unique robot form.
Accessories include Ratchet’s anime-inspired spanner weapon, a laser weapon, detachable rocket launcher projectiles, and integrated storage within the backpack. Enhanced sculpting and paint applications recreate details that were originally represented with stickers.
Additional features include a female human figure that can ride in the cockpit, a heat-activated secret emblem that reveals the Autobot insignia, stand compatibility for dynamic displays, newly illustrated retro-inspired package artwork, and a collectible character card.
